Looking for mindful, responsible peers and knowledge and skills relevant to these uncertain times? Are you excited to shape the future? Interested in earning ECTS credits, taking German and subject classes, or joining a meaningful internship program?

 

For all these needs, Freie Universität Berlin's international summer and winter university, FUBiS, and its European Studies Program, FU-BEST, offer cutting-edge curricula and a focus on sustainable impact, cultural programs and intercultural learning journeys.

And of course, we make use of the fascinating and historic city of Berlin, whether as a destination for field trips or as an extended classroom. Participate on-site or online!

Prior German language skills are not mandatory, as we conduct most subject classes in English and offer German language classes at all levels.

 

Did you know? FUBiS and FU-BEST are two of the largest and most experienced programs of their kind in Germany. They have been recognized by the Forum on Education Abroad through its Quality Improvement Program (QUIP) and, following the expansion of their online offerings, by the German government as part of its“Germany, Land of Ideas” initiative. Altogether nearly 1,000 students from over 50 countries join our programs each year!
